Data Deletion Policy

Mihaan Automation (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides users with clear options to request deletion of their personal data collected through our website, mobile app, and related services (“Services”).
1. Ways to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your personal data through the following methods:
A. Email Request
Send an email to founder@mihaan.tech with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” using your registered email address.
Include:
- Your full name
- Registered email or phone number
- Organization/workspace ID (if applicable)
2. What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we permanently delete or anonymize:
- Account profile information (name, email, phone, login credentials)
- Settings, preferences, and content owned by you
- Activity logs, device and session data tied to your account
- Support tickets and attachments associated with your account
- Billing identifiers (except where legal retention is required)
For organization accounts, deletion requests must be made by the verified workspace owner or admin.
3. Verification Process
To protect your privacy, we verify each request:
- Signed-in users: Verified by login session and re-authentication prompt.
- Email requests: Verified via a one-time code or confirmation link sent to your registered email.
- Authorized agents: Must provide written authorization and user verification.
4. Timeline for Deletion
- Acknowledgment: within 7 business days.
- Deletion window: within 30 days for standard accounts; up to 90 days for enterprise/workspace data or backups.
- Backups: securely isolated and overwritten on a rolling 90-day schedule.
5. Exceptions
Some data cannot be deleted immediately due to legal or operational reasons, such as:
- Financial and tax records (statutory retention requirements)
- Security and fraud prevention logs
- Legal obligations, ongoing investigations, or disputes
- Third-party processors that must retain records to comply with law
Such data is retained securely and used only for the purpose permitted by law.
6. Third-Party Processors
When you request deletion, we instruct our service providers and data processors (such as hosting, messaging, or payment partners) to delete or anonymize your data, consistent with their legal obligations.
We can provide a list of key processors upon request.
7. Effects of Data Deletion
- Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
- Your account and associated data will no longer be accessible.
- Shared links or data you owned may stop functioning.
- Anonymous statistical data that cannot identify you may be retained.
8. Cancelling a Deletion Request
If you submitted a deletion request by mistake, contact founder@mihaan.tech immediately. We can cancel the request if it has not yet been processed.
9. Appeals and Complaints
If you believe your request was denied or mishandled, contact founder@mihaan.tech. You may also contact your local data protection authority if applicable.
